Airport Arrival

We understand that it can be a daunting experience travelling from around the world to get here. For some of you it will be the first time you are visiting the UK.

The University provides an Airport Arrival Service for new students arriving at Newcastle International Airport (NCL) to put you at ease for when you arrive. Our arrivals team will help you arrange transport from Newcastle International Airport to your chosen accommodation. Whether this is by private taxi or the local metro transport links, we are happy to help and provide you with all the information you need to help you with your first few days here in the UK.

To apply for the Airport Arrival Service please fill in your details on our Airport Arrival Application Form, then click the submit button. Once you have submitted your form, our Arrival Team will email you to confirm your booking.

You will then receive a second confirmation email at least three days before your arrival, this will explain your transport details.

Please note that the Arrival Service is only available on certain dates and times. If you are travelling outside these dates please see below for alternative methods of travel to Sunderland.
