Once you have completed your Online Enrolment, you will almost be set up to start your programme.
You will see you now have access to our What Next? Checklist which will give you guidance on what your next steps are from here.
Now that you have your University User ID, you will be able to upload a photograph for your Campus Card.
Your Campus Card is your University identification card – you need it to borrow books from the library, register your attendance, access some buildings and facilities, and it is also proof that you are a student and can be used for free travel between Sunderland campuses on our Connect bus and Students' Union minibus services.
You'll need to make sure the photograph you upload is suitable and fits within our Photo Guidance.
Your Induction Timetable is your guide to your first weeks schedule at the University. During Welcome Week you'll access all your scheduled sessions through your Induction Timetable which will be focused around your individual programmes needs and is bespoke to you.
Your Induction Timetable is put together by your Programme Leader and is here to give you the best start to your studies.
If you're due a scholarship or bursary, you'll be able to set up your bank details via the What Next? Checklist so that when the time comes for payment, you can receive it with no fuss.
It's important that when setting up your bank details that you specify an end date of the mandate. This is the date given for when your bank details will no longer be active. We of course recommend setting this date as far in the future as possible so you that don't miss any future payments.
Your What Next? Checklist will give you access to Canvas, your Virtual Learning Environment. Canvas is where all your programme and module resources are stored as well as where you can submit assessments, contact Programme and Module Leaders and access our live online classes.
