The University provides an Airport Arrival Service for new students arriving at Newcastle International Airport (NCL) to put you at ease for when you arrive. Our arrivals team will help you arrange transport from Newcastle International Airport to your University accommodation.
The method and cost of transport depends on the date and time of your arrival. This will be clearly communicated to you through our process so you are always aware of what support is available.
Please note that all new University of Sunderland students will need to individually fill out the Airport Arrival Service Application Form to guarantee a space. Due to space restrictions, students should bring no more than 2 suitcases and 1 piece of hand luggage. If you have more than this is may incur additional costs.
To apply for the Airport Arrival Service please fill in your details on our Airport Arrival Application Form, then click the submit button. Once you have submitted your form, our Arrival Team will email you to confirm your booking.
You will then receive a second confirmation email at least three days before your arrival, this will explain your transport arrangements.
Please ensure you apply for the Airport Arrival Service no later than 5 days before you are due to arrive. You will not be able to submit the form after this time. Please note that the Arrival Service is only available on certain dates and times.
