We offer a range of wellbeing events and workshops to support you throughout your student journey.
Samaritans Sunderland are coming to join your Wellbeing team, extending support for those of you who may be struggling with feelings of loneliness or isolation. They’re here in person to offer drop in sessions based within Student Support Services one Monday a month from 10.00 - 16.00pm

Across all accommodations, we will be hosting events every Tuesday that will give students the chance to talk to each other, have a chat with one of our team, and do some fun activities. For example, on the 22nd of October we will be in Panns Bank and Scotia Quay, where you can come and join us for pumpkin carving, decoration making, or just a quick cuppa!

Every Tuesday 19.00 - 21.00pm, we host a Global Friendship Evening in which both international students and UK students can converse, play games, and help themselves to free pizza. Come along for a safe space to learn English, talk with friends, and meet some new unforgettable people!
Every Wednesday, Wellbeing will be hosting Sexual Health drop-in sessions located within Student Support Services. Please come along anytime 15.00 – 17.00pm to discuss anything from registering a C-Card, pregnancy options, long lasting contraception methods, or just general sexual health advice.
Across term, we will be hosting an array of different sessions aiming to help equip you with necessary skills that you might not have been taught. Starting on October 21st with an intro to Cooking on a Budget, the sessions will run all the way through the academic year. Other examples of Skills for Life sessions we will be hosting include Sleep Matters, Living Life Well, and Money Matters.
