Academic support

The University academic year is divided into three semesters- Autumn, Spring and Summer.  There are two timetabled examination periods, winter exams in January and summer exams in May. Additionally, within each term, there may be course-specific examinations or assessments. Exact details should be obtained from your module leaders and lecturers. Find exact term dates and an academic calendar.

Students registered with our team can discuss alternative arrangements for examinations and assessments however you must contact us 4 weeks prior to any exam.
