For graduates, you will be able to order a letter from our online store. Once you have placed an order a member of The Gateway Enquiries team will be in touch providing you with the letter in the format that you have requested.
A student status letter is a letter which will show your academic status with us. This letter can be used for numerous reasons and is our standard letter that is accepted by a whole host of organisations and is widely recognised around the world.
The letter will include your name and student number as well as information on your programme of studies including the title, start date and end date.
Councils often request a letter confirming your student status in order for them to be able to calculate any discount on council tax rates. The letter you can provide to councils is the standard Student Status Letter which will contain all the details they need to know to make decision.
