University Systems

We have a wide range of resources available to support you during your studies, these include our Virtual Learning Environment, Canvas which hosts all your programme and module resources, our enquiry portal Compass where you can find answers to commonly asked questions and submit your own and many more.

Compass is your enquiry portal. Managed by The Gateway Student Enquiries team, you will be able to view handy FAQs, book appointments with specialise services as well as submit any enquiry you may have so you can get the right answer.

Your Academic Timetable shows you everything you need to know about your class schedule. Your timetable will tell you what and when your classes and who is taking them.

TDS Student Portal (Attendance)

The TDS Student Portal is here to help you keep on track of your attendance, allowing you to view your attendance for your overall programme as well as each module. You can also submit absences for classes through the TDS Student Portal.

Student Email

Every student receives a University email address that allows them to stay connect to each other as well as to academic and support colleagues across the University. Student email is powered by Microsoft Office 365 so students also have the added flexibility of synchronising across office 365 products.

e:Vision is the portal that allows you to view your transcripts, produce your own letters and manage your own record. You'll be able to keep us updated with any changes to your address or bank details at any time.

Papercut is the system that allows you to manage your printing, including being able to add printing credits. As long as you are connected to the University network, you will be able to print direct from any University or personal device and will be able to.

Passwords & Authentication

As part of the enrolment process and from time to time during your studies, you will need to reset your password and set up authentication so you can safely access all of your online resources.

Here we have put together guidance on resetting your password, setting up authentication as well as how you can manage these yourself during your studies if anything changes.
