Student life

Student life can be fast-paced, exciting, and full of opportunity. We also know that it can bring challenges, including how to manage your budget alongside your studies. We want you to be aware of the support available to you as a part of the University of Sunderland community. You will find lots of useful information, initiatives and tips in our student life section.

Eating

Food

The University catering team offer a varied menu for students across our campuses. This includes low-cost options for breakfast, lunch, and snacks to grab as you go about your day.

We are also part of the Too Good to Go initiative, aiming to tackle food wastage and provide affordable food for those who need it. Download the app to sign up and check availability of food from our City Studio throughout the week. Food parcels are available on a first-come first-serve basis.
