Be Kind, Belong

The Be Kind, Belong campaign Team Sunderland's campaign to ensure nobody feels they are unwelcome during Team Sunderland activity.

We strongly believe that sport should be available to everyone and through a range of initiatives we aim to give our students a sense of belonging.

Anti-Social Behaviour & Bullying

Team Sunderland has a zero tolerance policy towards anti-social behaviour and bullying.

This includes initiations and anyone found to be taking part in any of these behaviours will not be welcome to take part in Team Sunderland activity.

Discrimination

No student should be discriminated against regardless of their background and beliefs.

Every student should be made to feel welcome when taking part in Team Sunderland activity.

We work closely with organisations including Show Racism The Red Card to educate students on the effects of discrimation.

Mental Health

With mental health effecting so many students and being at the forefront of the conversation on sport.

Team Sunderland has programmes designed specifically to promote physical activity to help combat mental health and improve wellbeing.

Team Sunderland does work with Student Minds to help educate students on mental health.
