My course is running PASS, do I have to attend all sessions?

Home / Student Information / Your Studies / PASS / FAQ / Do I have to attend PASS?

If you have a PASS session scheduled, you are encouraged to attend all sessions if you are able. We understand that there may be times where you are unable to attend, and we encourage you to let your PASS Leader know if this is the case.

Attendance to PASS is monitored by your PASS Leaders and PASS Supervisor Team, but it does not go towards any professional standards for your course and you will not be disciplined for failure to attend PASS sessions.

PASS is open to all students. Regardless if you are struggling with your learning or are very confident, a PASS session offers opportunity for learning to everyone. Therefore even if you feel confident with what you are studying in lectures and seminars, attending PASS can help solidify your understanding, expand on your ideas, or broaden your mind to alternative ways of thinking. It also means that if you are finding a subject difficult or have a lot of questions, you have someone to ask for help.
