Before requesting a break in your studies, you must discuss your reasons why with your programme leader first so that you can get an agreement in principle. If you are an international student, you must also seek an appointment with the International Student Support team.
We strongly recommend that you seek advice from the Student Financial Guidance team based within Student Support Services. This is to ensure you understand the financial implications of taking a break.
Once you have decided that this is the right thing for you, complete the Leave of Absence form
