    In a ‘Mental Health’ Crisis, you can contact your local NHS Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Service. They are open 24/7 and are there for people over the age of 16 experiencing a mental health crisis.
If you are under the care of a mental health team and have a specific care plan that states who to contact when you need urgent care, you should follow this plan.

If you require support from the Wellbeing team staff will be available between 11am-1pm as part of our Online Support Services.We also have a dedicated team providing on campus support between 11am - 4pm.
You can contact the team via email at wellbeing@sunderland.ac.uk or make a referral to the Wellbeing service via our Referral Form and we will call you back.
Please note; limited opening times means that you may wait 24 hours for a response and students experiencing a Mental health crisis are asked to contact the Local crisis team.
