Getting Help and Support if you feel in crisis

The Wellbeing Team is currently receiving a high volume of referrals. As our students are of the utmost priority, we will aim to respond to referrals as soon as we are able to do so.

To ensure that we offer the most appropriate support, we may offer you telephone or email contact rather than a face-to-face appointment in the first instance. We will then be able to offer you the most appropriate next steps including links to other University of Sunderland Support Services and those across the wider Sunderland area.

While you are waiting for us to contact you, you can access our online service tool called 'Silvercloud'. This consists of a number of self-help programmes which you can access online, at your own pace, available 24/7. The modules include providing space from anxiety, stress, depression, panic and also creating positive body images. If you feel one or more of these modules may be beneficial, you can access via https://sunderlandac.silvercloudhealth.com/signup/
