During your studies you may find that you need additional support and guidance through Extenuating Circumstances, or taking a Leave of Absence. You may even want to transfer programme altogether.
To make any changes to your studies, you may need to complete and submit the relevant academic form.
You may find that as an assessment is coming up that you don't have time to do this due to exceptional circumstances beyond your control. If this is the case, you may need to apply for Extenuating Circumstances.

Sometimes, students may want to transfer to a different programme of studies. Our Transfer process allows you to be able to transfer from one programme to another internally without having to make a new application.

A Leave of Absence is when can take a break from your studies, either for personal or professional reasons. It allows you to essentially pause your studies to have time away from the programme so that you can then pick up your studies at a later date.

If you have taken a Leave of Absence, you will be asked to submit a Return to Study form just before you're due back. This is so we can ensure we have everything ready for your return so you can have a smooth transition back into your programme.

You may find that during your studies you either have more or less time on your hands and may want to move from Full Time studies to Part Time, or move Part Time to Full Time. As long as your programme allows, the Change of Study Mode form will start the process for you.
